Wow, as a dude I can say that this stuff definitely works for me and I am really surprised by that. I have run the gauntlet of different natural deodorants and could never find one that worked well with my body. The longest a natural deodorant ever worked for me was about 10 hours without exerting myself (much shorter timeframe if I'm working out). For a while I started to think that I would have to switch back to Degree or Old Spice or some other mainstream deodorant that uses SLS and all the other nasty stuff because none of the natural deodorants seemed to work very well for me. I will say that I was using the natural Arm & Hammer deodorant for a while because it was the most effective of the bunch, but I still had two problems with it; 1) it stung my arm pits when I put it on and 2) Arm & Hammer tests their products on animals which I'm am firmly against. So, I also tried Jason, Tom's of Maine, and other Mineral Salt type deodorants (that were not made by Kiss My Face), but none of them worked very well. The other day I was wandering through my local grocery store when I found Kiss My Face liquid rock roll-on deodorant (patchouli) and decided to give it a try despite my history with mineral salt deodorants (and them not working for me). I will say that the mineral salt deodorants I used in the past were not liquid, but solid so it isn't exactly a like-like comparison, but maybe that makes all the difference. I tried it on and wore it for about 20 hours....and it worked wonderfully...not a hint of B.O. at all! Just as good as mainstream deodorants. What I like most about this deodorant is that it feels like I don't have anything on at all. It also doesn't sting nor does it dry out my armpits like most name brand deodorants. Granted, this is a little more expensive than most, but the fact that it works so well without using a bunch of chemicals, is not tested on animals, doesn't use artificial fragrances (they use real patchouli oil to give the deodorant it's scent), etc, is well worth the extra $ in my opinion.
I will add that the Patchouli scent is pretty strong at first...my girlfriend didn't care for it at first but after 20 minutes or so it seems to die down to something a bit more subtle and becomes pretty pleasant if you are into earthy scents. If not, I believe they have an unscented formula as well. Give it a try...everyone's body is different, but this one works really well for me and I think there are a lot of people out there who agree.
