After becoming concerned about what the aluminum in our deodorant does to our bodies over the long haul, I shopped around at local health food stores for a deodorant without aluminum. I found some that worked okay but they were very pricey. As I shopped around online and read reviews, I came across this product. I tried it and was very pleased. I have been using it now for more than two years and am a very satisfied customer.
As you read reviews for this product elsewhere on Amazon, some people complain about it not working well. Granted, it is not an antiperspirant, and should not be expected to work as such. If you're looking for more natural alternatives, you probably don't want to clog your pores with that type of product anyway! So my solution is that if I am out hiking all day or working outside in high heat all day, I switch back and use an antiperspirant just for that one day. For regular work days in the office or being around the house, this product keeps me from smelling, even though I sweat a lot. As such, it does exactly what it claims to do.
It also is one of the most affordable of the aluminum free deodorants. It's no more expensive than the traditional deodorants at Wal-Mart. Overall, it's a good buy for the money and works exactly as promised. I highly recommend it.
